Southern Nevada has land – lots of it.
- Nevada is the 7th largest state in the nation, with more than 70.6 million acres.
- Clark County, where Las Vegas and the surrounding communities of North Las Vegas, Henderson, Mesquite and Boulder City are located, encompasses 5.12 million acres of land.
That means the Las Vegas region has large tracts of land ready and available for development. Take a look at where your next project could be located.

Apex Industrial Park
Located in North Las Vegas off Interstate 15 at U.S. Highway 93, the Apex Industrial Park is an 18,000-acre area with about 7,000 acres left for development and six large projects currently underway. The city has so far invested more than $63 million to bring water and sewer infrastructure to the park, with additional infrastructure in the planning stages. U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) is also working on federal legislation that would speed up the permitting process for businesses building in this area. Recent additions to Apex include Air Liquide’s $250 million liquid hydrogen production plant and a 1-million square-foot Crocs distribution center.
Speedway Industrial Park
Next door to Apex is the Speedway Industrial Park, also located in North Las Vegas. The Speedway submarket currently contains the largest amount of industrial space in the region, approximately 70 million square feet of space, with available industrial buildings ranging from 40K to 1M in square footage. The park features direct access to Interstate 15, and a total of $156 million in infrastructure improvements have been completed.
West Henderson
In the southern part of the valley, West Henderson is booming along the Interstate 15 corridor, offering 26 million square feet of existing, under construction, and planned industrial space. The area is already home to the Las Vegas Raiders headquarters, Las Vegas Aces, Levi Strauss, and the Henderson Executive Airport. The brand-new Debra March Center of Excellence, a state-of-the-art training center for advanced manufacturing workers, also recently opened in the heart of West Henderson.
Eldorado Valley
Further to the east in Henderson, you’ll find Eldorado Valley, an 8,000-acre tract of land that the city annexed from Boulder City in 2021. The land lies along U.S. Highway 95 and the future Interstate 11 corridor and is the region’s closest industrial location to Arizona. The city has designated the first 850 acres of land for an industrial park, with millions of square feet planned or underway in the area. In August of 2023, Amazon acquired more than 300 acres of land in Eldorado Valley for a future facility.
Southwest industrial submarket
The southwest Valley township of Enterprise is the fastest-growing unincorporated area in the valley in terms of population, and the region’s land development is keeping pace. The Southwest industrial submarket, which encompasses areas both north and south of the 215 beltway and south to Blue Diamond Road, holds a substantial amount of industrial space, with more than 46 million square feet of space, with more buildings coming online monthly. The area offers companies direct access to I-15 and quick turnaround times to the Los Angeles market.
Northwest Business Park
In the rapidly growing northwest part of Las Vegas near U.S. Highway 95 and the northern 215 beltway, you’ll find the Northwest Business Park. This tract of land was granted to the City of Las Vegas by the U.S. Congress with the purpose of creating economic opportunities. The city has 640 acres of land available for industrial development and is ready to break ground immediately.
Sloan and Jean communities
Development is quickly moving to areas south of the Las Vegas Valley, with developers eyeing parcels in the Sloan and Jean communities, approximately a 15–20-minute drive south of town. Clark County recently approved plans for a 140-acre, 1.9 million square foot industrial warehouse and distribution complex in Jean with easy access to Interstate 15 and proximity to southern California markets. Additionally, the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport is a planned commercial airport in development that will be located along the I-15 corridor near Jean.
